An adventurous photographer of 10 years based on Maryland's Eastern Shore. But I'm hardly ever home — you can find me out and about hiking, road tripping, fishing, and exploring. I'm usually accompanied by my horses and my dogs. I'm here to help you capture all of life's special moments, no matter what they might be. Weddings, elopements, seniors, couples, families, animals, adventures . . . I'm here to capture it all!

I have had the pleasure of not only knowing Shelby, but have also been fortunate enough to witness her photography both personally and as an observer. I have been present during various events that she photographed, be it weddings, mini-sessions, school events, or simply candids, and have always been impressed with her style and demeanor as she “works”. The thing about Shelby is that when she is taking pictures, it is obvious that she does not consider it work, but rather passion instead. I called on her to photograph one of the saddest times my family has gone through lately, asking that she capture end of life photos of our dog, Cooper. Not only was she very timely in setting up a date to come, but also made the session happy in its own way, rather than as sad as it could have been, knowing why these shots were being taken. Besides the shots she captured of my boys and I, the highlight of the session was after what we thought was the end of the session itself. Shelby had put her camera away, put her props back in her truck, and was about to leave, when she turned once more to look at Cooper and knew that she had the perfect shot. She pulled everything she needed back out her truck and took more pictures. Amazingly enough, one of the shots she took in that unexpected moment was the one I chose to have made into a canvas and hung in our family room. It is a treasured gift in our home and I am forever grateful to Shelby for the gift she was given in order to give that gift to my family and I. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for any type of photography need. Shelby is the perfect package of professional yet fun, sassy yet sensitive, and modern yet timeless.

It had been years since we had professional family photos taken. Shelby was extremely flexible and accommodating given the weather and our busy schedules. Shelby came to our house, listened to my ideas and made creative suggestions for our photos. Somehow, she encouraged our pet, Sheldon, to sit still and pose for the camera. She even managed to get smiles and laughs from my husband and kids who thought I was torturing them with our coordinating outfits. I especially loved that she created each photo in color, as well as black and white. Thanks to Shelby, I created the perfect Christmas card and a gallery wall in our new home.
